Murals on walls, illusionistic ceilings, faux marble columns, and gilded soffits are just
some of the many possibilities. Painted Finishes such as glazing, marbling, and graining can be used to
solve a wide range of design problems. In addition to being decorative, these
finishes can give interior spaces the illusion of being larger, higher, lighter or more
elegant.
Russell Joseph Studio goes beyond
the typical 'faux finish' by using a unique process of glazing which was developed in the
early fifteenth century. Glazing creates beautiful nuances of color not found in
ordinary paints, thus complementing the surroundings with tasteful elegance and
refinement. |
